These terms explain what happens when you buy a ticket to, and attend an LTUX Brighton event. Please read them carefully. By buying a ticket, you're agreeing to these terms.
1. Tickets
- Tickets are generally considered personal to you and are linked to your name and contact details in TicketTailor. However you can transfer your ticket to someone else if you let us know: [email protected]. This can happen on the day.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable except in special circumstances, such as illness, travel issues, extreme weather, etc. This is because as a volunteer organisation we need to cover event costs and keep our admin lean.
- As a first option we ask that you assign you your ticket to a friend or offer it to the community as a pay-it-forward. We can help with this allocation if needed.
- If you do need to request a refund please write to us at: [email protected]
- When we issue a refund it will not include the ticket sales fees (typically around £1.50)–as this would mean we operate at a loss.
- We cannot offer refunds for no-shows.
2. Payment
- Payment must be made in full at the time of booking a ticket. For some events, an interest list is in place first and then tickets are released once we have sufficient sign-ups.
- We use a secure payment system to protect your financial information. Our payment provider through TicketTailor is Stripe.
3. What’s Included in Your Ticket
This will be outlined on the ticket sales page. For daylong workshops, this is typically includes complementary drinks and snacks and lunch.
We often need to cover venue booking fees in the ticket cost, except in certain instances where we are hosted for free. In which case this is represented in the ticket pricing.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Please behave respectfully towards other attendees, volunteers, facilitators, and venue staff. We want a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
